Hey!
Este jueguito ha estado dando las rondas por Facebook y pues me tocó hacerlo. Pensé que sería buena idea pornerlo aquí y luego exportarlo para allá como nota, pero por lo mismo escribí todo en inglés.
Aquí les va.

25 Random things about myself
Rules: Write a note with 25 random things about you. To do this, go to “notes” under tabs on your profile page, paste these instructions in the body of the note, type your 25 random things, tag 25 people (in the right hand corner of the app) then click publish.
1. I used to hate being considered nerd/geek, and while I was on high school so I used kept shhhh on many things that interested me. Now I actually enjoy talking about my random obsessions/compulsions.
2. I knew I wanted to do a PhD in the UK before I knew what to study, and my dad talked me about Oxford and Cambridge longgg time agooo.
3. I studied Physics as I thought it was the most general thing one could study, and it had plenty of Maths without being Pure Maths, which is a great thing, since I am not keen on doing formal proofs (I don't care if one can show something exists and if it is unique...I am happy with an example, then it exists on my book). In an ideal world, I would have studied everything, but there is just a finite amount of time.
4. My Dad taught me to love books. He read me many nights and I wouldn't allow him to go to sleep before finishing a chapter. However, everything Sci-Fi + Fantasy, comes from my mum. She gave me LOTR at 11, scooped me Philosopher's Stone from the States and taught me to love Star Wars.
5. If I had been good enough, I would had been a ballerina. Also, my evil twin in a parallel universe is a singer in a very successful band.
6. I have a teddy bear named Teddy. I would cry if something happened to him.
7. I am very bossy, and like having things done my way. I am also very perfectionist and my worst critic.
8. I was not a girly girl while on high school. In fact, my idea of getting ready was 10 min long (shower + getting dressed ).
9. I've discovered I enjoy teaching, which I used to hate. I guess is just a matter of how to communicate.
10. I feel much younger than what I am....I guess most people feel this way.
11. I am still in denial about having a PhD in Theoretical Physics. Somehow I don't believe it was me who did it, but someone else and that the world is going to discover the truth somehow.
12. I kicked my brother's ass in Super Mario Kart. I excelled in the Rainbow Road and no matter how hard he practised, he never got to beat me. However playing with my sister it was a different story. She always got that annoying lightening power and would wait until the final lap to use it and roll over you.
13. I love to travel, but prefer to plan exhaustively than to go for the adventure. I am also very precise on the places I want to see, the times, and everything. In other words, I like to be the leader of the expedition rather than a follower. My sister almost killed me once when I insisted we still were missing the Cinquantenaire Arcade in Brussels.
14. I played the piano while growing up, the cello in Uni and now decided it was time to take on the guitar, so I got myself a cheap acoustic which I named Chuck (as they told me it had to be a male name, since I am a girl).
15. I have an exceptionally good long term memory and a terrible short term one (e.g. where are the keys? My sister says I am like Dory).
16. My ideal job would be to own a huge bookstore/coffee shop. Nothing would beat that.
17. I watched massive amounts of TV while growing up, and somehow did good at school and went to afternoon classes. Japanese cartoons are the best, and if they are on TV, I would still watch them. In fact, I can still sing most of the theme songs from the top of my head.
18. People say I smile a lot and that I am always happy. However, even when I freak out I tend to smile.
19. I've watched the NFL since I was 4. I like four teams. The first team I ever rooted for was the Pittsburgh Steelers, and it was because my dad had a jacket and I liked the symbol of the team. My dad had this duvet cover with all the symbols of the teams and he would quiz me about the names and the cities from which they were originally. When LT played I rooted for the Giants, and when I grew older, I learnt that one has to support one of the original NFL teams: Bears or Packers. My dad roots for Green Bay, so I decided to root for the Bears. Finally, after watching the snow bowl (i.e. Tuck Rule Game) in 2001 (Raiders/Pats), and Tom Brady's performace, I've supported the Patriots, and yes, in Belichick we trust. I hate the Cowboys, Indy and all the expansion teams. My favourite position is LB.
20. I am a member of several fandoms (this is, go to the websites, participate in the forums, listen to the podcasts...you get the picture). If you look at my Podcast list, you will probably find Pottercast, Imprint, etc.
21. I have a difficult relationship with food. I am incapable of cooking, and I hate it. However I have a great time baking.
22. I have a serious addiction called Diet Coke....not good.
23. I love board games and hate people who cheat. My siblings love to irritate me by breaking the rules. Scrabble is a favourite and NO, RIEZIGGY, IS NOT A WORD IN ANY LANGUAGE.
24. Some people thing it is funny/weird that I know who Coco Rocha is, while also knowing who Ed Witten is, and who John Noe is.
25. I still haven't decided which is my favourite city in the world, but NY/London/Rome is a tough combo to decide from.

Ya les prometo que pronto me pondré a escribir cosas más interesantes, jejeje. Mientras tanto trabajen, estudien y como dice mi tío, sean felices, jejeje.
